Suggested Length
Research articles and reports: approximately 3,000–6,000 words. Essays and research notes: approximately 1,500–3,000 words.
Academic Writing Basics
Begin with a clear question and arguable claim; explain your materials and methods; cite facts, paraphrases and quotations accurately; show how evidence supports your interpretation; engage other views; and state the limits of the research.
Editorial Timeline
We aim to send an initial response within two weeks. Selected submissions usually undergo one or two rounds of revision, with timing confirmed for each piece.
